Cannes Lions Gold in Film award winner, Michelle is a chilean film director
currently based in Madrid, Spain. She has directed ads for worldwide brands
such as Ikea, Pepsi, Danone, Cornetto.

With award winning campaigns, such as:
“Proudly Second Best” for Ikea that got her a Gold Lion in Film at the
70th Cannes Lions Festival in 2023, along with 4 more Silver lions.
The Hidden Flag”, Titanium shortlisted at Cannes Lions along with 1 Gold Lion and 2 Silver. Won 2 Grand Prix and 36 other awards at El Ojo de Iberoamérica, placing Michelle in the top 2nd place for best director. It was also awarded at The One Show, Clio Awards, El Sol and many other worldwide advertising festivals.
She also directed “Cornetto’s Commitment Rings”, also awarded at Cannes with a Bronze Lion, 6 golds at El Ojo de Iberoamérica and more.

Among her more personal work, Queens of Flesh & Blood is an award winning fashion film at the Buenos Aires International Fashion Film Festival (2017) as
Best International New Talent; and was also selected around the globe: The International Fashion Film Awards, Mexico Fashion Film Festival, Mercedes Benz Bokeh South Africa International Fashion Film Festival, among others.

Michelle’s debut Astro Son, written and directed by her, made it in the official selection of several festivals around the world, including the TIFF Toronto International Film Festival KIDS, SANFIC10, Providence Children’s Film Festival, SoHo Short Film Festival, NYC Indie Film Festival.

Her latest fiction work, the short film One Way, also written and directed by her, follows a trans woman and her daily struggles. It was selected at Modive-se in Brazil and as semi-finalist at the Miami Short Film Festival.

Today, Michelle directs commercial films, narrative,
music videos and personal projects.
